Brandon started racing Go Karts at the age of 7 in 1992. He went on to win track championships at the storied Carnesville Kartway in Carnesville, GA in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2006.
2006 also marked the first time Brandon piloted a Dirt Late Model making his debut at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA. Brandon would go on to complete his first full season in 2007 after which Rolling Thunder TV named Brandon 2007 "Driver of The Year"
In 2008, car owner Wayne Reed fielded both a GM Performance crate Late Model team and a Limited Late Model team. Collectively, Brandon would go on to capture 15 wins, 19 poles and 31 Top 5 finishes en route to winning Track Champion honors at Lavonia Speedway in both divisions.
2009 would mark the first year in which Brandon would attempt to chase a national title. Although the travel involved with competing in a national touring series would hamper his efforts to repeat as track champion at Lavonia Speedway, Brandon was committed to the idea none the less.
Brandon would go on to collect a combined 27 checkered flags in 2009, 28 poles and 49 Top 5's. Brandon would also notch two FASTRAK touring series event wins in 2009. Additionally, Brandon was in contention for the FASTRAK Racing Series national weekly points championship into the final weeks of the 2009 season. Brandon came up just short of the championship finishing 3rd among 267 drivers nationally in the final point standings.
Despite the travel that kept Brandon from competing in every event at both Lavonia Speedway and nearby Hartwell Speedway in 2009, Brandon managed to finish 3rd in points in the GM Performance crate Late Model Division at BOTH venues. Brandon would also pilot his Limited Late Model to a 2nd place finish in the final point standings at both speedways as well.
While Brandon dedicated most of his time in 2010 to the development of the upstart Reed Motorsports NASCAR K & N Pro Series entry, Brandon entered nine Dirt Late Model events scoring 5 wins.
In 2011, Brandon will again pilot the Reed Motorsports #51 in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East squarely focused on contending for 2011 Rookie of The Year honors.
Brandon will also compete in Dirt Late Model events throughout 2011 whenever possible.
Despite the rigorous travel and time demands, when not at a race track, Brandon can usually be found at the Reed Motorsports
complex every day as he's generally the first to arrive and the last to leave.
